WoW: Patch 5.1, Mistweaver Changes

Today is a big day for Mistweavers as we’ve finally received our first batch of nerfs.

With the changes to Mana Tea, Critical Strike is now an more appealing stat for Mistweavers. This is something the monk community have been slowly transitioning over to due to Mastery’s limited time frame.

Buffs to Soothing Mist should make it a more viable Chi generator. Here’s to hoping that we might have a viable option to the usual Jab spam.

Make sure if you haven’t, check out the Mistweaver Guide. Its been updated for Patch 5.1. Next on this list to be updated is the Gear list for those already raiding.

Mists of Pandaria Release!

At the time of this post, we’re 7 hours away from launch and we’re very excited this is finally coming full circle. We’ve spent at least 5-6 months preparing for this moment and its here!

Beta Build 15657, Mistweaver Guide

A new build has emerged on the beta servers allowing folks to finally level 88 but also access “Shado-pan Monastery” and “Mogu’shan Palace”.

This came in with a small amount of changes effecting Mistweaver. I’ll edit the guide accordingly so stay tuned.

In the next couple of days, I’ll have to get my ilvl high enough for the new dungeons.

Mogu’shan Palace, Shado-pan Monastery, Cap to 88

Zarhym of “Blizzard Entertainment” confirmed that the next build will include  ”Shado-Pan Monastery” and “Mogu’shan Palace” but also increase level cap to 88.

 

What does this mean for you folks?

Hours and hours of livestreaming!

That’s right! We will be covering these new additions extensively from a Mistweaver POV once the build is released(Lets hope it is stable!) so make sure to follow us at Facebook or Twitter for any updates!

Mistweaver Guide Updated

The Mistweaver Guide has been updated with some additions and revisions.

  • Updated 5man AOE healing rotation.
  • Better understanding of all rotations overall.
  • Will be adding a raid guide once they are available so stay tuned!
  • PVP will be covered as a Mistweaver in the future!

YouTube, Dungeon Guides

Now that a stable build is finally on beta, we will begin recording for our YouTube channel!

We will begin with our Mistweaver Guide and following it up with two dungeon guides for “Temple of the Jade Serpent” and “Stormstout Brewery”.

This upcoming week, we will also push our written guides for the available dungeons. Remember, these will be up-to-date for the launch of Mists of Pandaria so remember to bookmark us!

Transmog Sundays, Twitch.TV

Beta Build 15650

Another batch of nerfs and buffs have been put in!

Lets hope this build is a bit more stable allowing us to finally stream without crashing.

Beta Patch 15640, Streaming

Another update has finally been deployed with a update that comes with a lot of talent & Mistweaver changes!

Lets hope this also includes some very annoying error fixes.

Update(2): Guide has been fully revised to cover the new changes, but also some new additions!

Update: T14 was added to the beta build page.

 

Reminder: We will not not be streaming till they fix some of the issues with beta. Disconnecting every min or so isn’t stream worthy. Check back for an update or visit our Twitter page!

Mistweaver Guide Overhaul, User Accounts

After a full night of overhauling the mistweaver guide, it’s finally finished!

More detail into rotations and any and all information relating to Mistweaver has been edited and revised to reflect the current build.

I’m also going to start working on setting up user accounts to allow folks who want to comment, will have the ability to do so without worry if they need to put their information in every visit/comment.
