Patch 5.2: The Thunder King is now live in World of Warcraft! I’m still preparing the guide for a accurate gear list for this next tier in the coming weeks so make sure you keep the Mistweaver Guide bookmarked!
Make sure you check out MMO-Champion for a list of new things added this patch.
I’ve decided to revamp and update the guide for Patch 5.2 “The Thunder King”. I’ve teamed up with several high end Monks that are keeping me in the loop for everything Mistweaver. There are still more changes and theorycrafting to be had but it should be finalized and ready to go before the patch hits.
While I might not be playing World of Warcraft anymore, I’ll still be posting some of the highlights related to this MMORPG from Blizzard Entertainment.
This is the first in-game trailer, titled “Patch 5.2: The Thunder King“, I’ve been impressed with. I’d still like to see a company create a cinematic tool that doesn’t use in-game footage as much. One can wish though eh?
A batch of new items have hit the Marketplace created by talented fans submitting their hard work through Player Studio. The amount of detail in every item released in this latest batch is absolutely stunning including the first animated house item!
Check out more player made items in the Player Studio section of the Station Marketplace!
The update on February 26th was discussed in Podcast #143, as well as in articles about the PvP Updates and Bag Sorting Abilities. Now, it’s time to take a look at two more major features that round out the update: new raid content and guild achievements!
Colette “Dexella” Murphy talks with Kenneth “Terrogaunt” Roecks about the new inventory abilities that will be launched with the update!
Colette “Dexella” Murphy:Players have already heard a little bit about bag sorting during the Podcast, but let’s recap. How does the new bag sorting feature work?
Kenneth “Terrogaunt” Roecks: The sorting process is essentially grabbing all of the items from your inventory and then checking each item to see what it is. It then groups similar items together in an “order of operations” method ( IE: All attuned gear is equipment, but not all equipment is attuned, so the attunement must be checked first.) to drop them into the destination bags in logical groupings. It makes use of this same system for picking up items now too! Say hello to a designated quest item bag!
EverQuest II is having a Double Experience Weekend! Starting at 12:01 pm (noon) Pacific on Friday, February 22, 2013, and lasting until 11:59pm Pacific on Sunday, February 24, 2013 so make sure you log in and take advantage of this to catch up on those last couple of levels or to grind AA’s!
Hopefully I can manage to boost up the EQ2 account up to “Gold Membership” so I can finish up leveling the Fury. I’ll be sure to stream if I can so make sure you check back as this post will be edited with any details on how to check it out or Follow our Twitch.TV which will notify you via email when we go live!
