Patch 5.3: Escalation goes live!

 Patch 5.3 Escalation goes live after today’s maintenance.

Here are some of the highlights you have to look forward to!

 

  • Heroic Scenarios give 120-150 Valor Points for your first every day and a chance to get a item level 516 item. The Challenge mode daily quest also gives you a chance at item level 516 gear.
  • The legendary quest line continues, with a reward of item level 600 cloaks.
  • The Kor’kron have taken over the Troll area in Orgrimmar, as well as Razor Hill, and are advancing on Sen’jin Village. You will team up with Thrall, Vol’jin, and Chen Stormstout to push them back and retake Razor Hill.
  • The weekly Barrens quest will give you a chance to buy an item level 489 item.
  • There are several new mounts in this patch, with the most interesting being the  Enchanted Fey Dragon. (Source UNKNOWN)
  • You can now use items in your bank and Void Storage for transmogrification.
  • A quest was added that will reveal the final Sha and reward you with item level 502 boots.
  • Four new scenarios, one battleground, and a new arena were added to the game.
  • There are lots of PvP changes, with a 65% base Resilience, less PvP Power and Resilience on gems, no more Resilience on most gear, the Conquest catch up cap implemented, and more!
  • The Brawler’s Guild has some new bosses and other updates, along with some new shirts.
  • Heirloom shields are finally on the vendors.
  • You can now level mining and herbalism in Pandaria, no matter what skill level you are at.

WoW: Patch 5.1, Mistweaver Changes

Today is a big day for Mistweavers as we’ve finally received our first batch of nerfs.

With the changes to Mana Tea, Critical Strike is now an more appealing stat for Mistweavers. This is something the monk community have been slowly transitioning over to due to Mastery’s limited time frame.

Buffs to Soothing Mist should make it a more viable Chi generator. Here’s to hoping that we might have a viable option to the usual Jab spam.

Make sure if you haven’t, check out the Mistweaver Guide. Its been updated for Patch 5.1. Next on this list to be updated is the Gear list for those already raiding.

Future of EndGameTactics.com, We’re back!

We’re finally back to posting on EndGameTactics.com and I’ve come with good and bad news pertaining to the future of the website.

My love for MMO’s ranging from Everquest 2, Rift, The War Z, World of Warcraft, and everything in-between will never fade. As a result, you will begin to notice a lot of articles in the future that aren’t focused on just World of Warcraft.

My ultimate goal is to shine light on games that aren’t filled with millions of people logged into their world at any given time, and really showcase  why some of these games have more tighter & friendlier communities.

Also, we’re are now opening what we call, EGT Armory! 

It’s practically our Marketplace where you can check out and purchase through us of course :) gaming peripherals that we personally use or highly recommend.

As for the Mistweaver Guide that this website is currently based around, is currently being updated in preparation of Patch 5.0 which will consist a handful of nerf and spell changes for Mistweavers.

Now for the bad news.

While this is something that’s going to take sometime to make the transition smooth, the guide over at MMO-Champion is going being to be taken down.

Mists of Pandaria Release!

At the time of this post, we’re 7 hours away from launch and we’re very excited this is finally coming full circle. We’ve spent at least 5-6 months preparing for this moment and its here!

Mists of Pandaria Cinematic Release

For those that haven’t checked out MMO-Champion, Blizzard finally released the official cinematic trailer.

The hype of Mists of Pandaria is finally coming along full swing and here at EndGameTactics, we’re very excited for this latest expansion!

We are preparing for release with a handful of videos to help those wanting to pick up Mistweaver on day one to ensure you can hit the ground running.

The Mistweaver Guide is missing a number of rotations(yes we read emails!) that are in the process of being added including gear lists once you hit level 90!

If you aren’t aware and would like to check us out live over at Twitch for some Mistweaver PVE/PVP LIVE, remember to check the status of the widget to the right!

After finally receiving our new rig that we ordered, we’ve finally tweaked our X-Split settings and are back to streaming live on Twitch.TV!

Our channel will be focused on Mistweaver POV, Day-Z, and also GuildWars 2 early release coverage once the day approaches. You can check out the status of our stream(Either offline or online) on the widget to the right.

Future of End Game Tactics

With Mists of Pandaria slowly approaching, we’re wanting to give you a preview of what our plans are for End Game Tactics in the next 3-4 months. I’ve recieved a number of emails wondering why content is slow on being put up and I’ll tell you why.

This is something I’ve taken on alone and finding the balance with time management for editing, and recording is something I’m still working on. I hope you can appreciate the time and effort we put in supplying you with quality visual and written guides so far.

Simply saying, we’re here to stay.

We aren’t just a site that’s going to stop updating once we get bored. We’re in this for the long haul as my passion for gaming is something that’s given me some of my most cherished memories.

Diablo III:

  • We plan on revamping our Demon Hunter page to be a bit more reader friendly.
  • Barbarian guide is currently in the works, with monks soon to follow!
  • More articles relating to Diablo III hotfixes/changes.

 

Mists of Pandaria:

  • Finishing up the rest of dungeon videos and written guides.(Both take a lot of time)
  • Possibly branching our Monk guides for specializations such as Brewmaster and Windwalker.
  • Farming Routes
  • Profession Guides(1-600*) including Mists powerleveling.

 

YouTube:

  • We know we’ve been slow on getting videos up and running for those to enjoy and we we’re sorry for this. This is all a learning process and we will get better as time allows!
  • We do plan on making video guides for everything we have in written format for Mists of Pandaria.

Stormstout Brewery Guide

After finishing the last batch of tweaks to the website, we’re releasing our Stormstout Brewery Guide!

We plan on doing both written and video guides of each dungeon giving you a hub of information to visit for launch. We’ve also fixed our RSS feed so make sure you subscribe!

Profession and daily written and video guides are something we plan on covering before the launch of Mists of Pandaria.

This is something we have been wanting to do and given our break on raid testing on Beta, we’ve had the time to find suitable layout to fit what we’re looking to use for future growth of End Game Tactics.
